The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahraini Association for Strategic Planning the President of the President confirmed that the achievements of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s 2030 vision for the year 2024, and after 9 years of its launch, they represent a global model in achieving sustainable development through the programs expressed by the annual report issued on Friday in conjunction with the anniversary of the vision.

The report dealt with the previous stages, the gains that were achieved, and preparations for the next stage, in addition to the programs of vision and the associated national strategies, which were led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The President pointed out that Saudi Arabia’s success in achieving its vision is reflected positively on Bahrain directly due to the strength of economic relations between the two countries, explaining that Saudi Arabia, through its fruitful efforts and insisting on reaching the goals, enabled the national strategies that it set to speak for itself through the numbers and statistics that witnessed great leaps in all the targeted aspects, which confirms the importance of strategic planning in the desired development leadership.

She said, “93% of the Kingdom’s vision indicators achieved national programs and strategies, or its interim targets, or bypassed or approached their achievement in 2024, of which 257 indicators exceeded its annual target, and 18 indicators achieved his annual target, and 8 targeted visions were achieved 6 years before their time, and a number of indicators achieved the targets of 2030 early, from the early 2030 The most prominent of which exceeded the number of tourists is a barrier of 100 million visitors, the record of 8 Saudi sites in the UNESCO World Heritage List, and the number of volunteers to 1.2 million, planning targeting in 2030, amounting to one million volunteers, and the percentage of women’s participation in the labor market reached 33.5%, exceeding the target of 2030 of 30%.

The Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors explained that sustainable development is a comprehensive goal that seeks to achieve a balance between the economic needs of current and future generations. Therefore, strategic planning is a vital and necessary tool, to ensure achievement of goals in a balanced and sustainable way.

She indicated that the annual report of the Saudi Vision 2030 for the year 2024 came up with the achievements that were achieved in all aspects on the reality of the situation, especially in the fields that achieve economic mutations that directly affect all countries of the Arab Gulf system, with the features it reflects for the bright future, through the high number of workers in small and medium enterprises to 7.86 million Saudi employees, exceeding the target of the year, 4 Saudi universities were ranked among the 500 best universities in the world, and King Saud University ranked 90th globally, making it the first Saudi university to be among the 100 best international universities.

She stressed, “Strategic planning directly contributes to the development of the educational system that meets the needs of society, contributes to sustainable development, enables to improve the quality of education, provide educational opportunities for all, and encourage continuous education.
