Port Said Governorate continues to strengthen its position as one of the most developed and clean Egyptian cities, through various daily efforts that include road development, improving the level of services, and raising the efficiency of neighborhoods, within the framework of an integrated vision led by Major General Moheb Habashi, the governor of Port Said, to improve the cultural and service level of the city.
Continuous efforts in developing roads, hygiene, markets and afforestation
Port Said Governorate continued its intensive efforts in developing infrastructure and services, as paving and raising the efficiency of 99 Street from Al -Amin Street to Muhammad Ali in the Arab neighborhood and climate, in implementation of the directives of the governor, to facilitate traffic and improve the appearance of the city.
In the climate neighborhood, multiple streets witnessed extensive cleaning works, which were supervised by the head of the neighborhood, Mohamed Ahmed Fawaz, to improve the residential environment and improve the services provided to citizens.
The Historic Association of Port Said also launched the 1859 Ponnsiana Tree to revive the environmental heritage and planting trees in vital locations, with the participation of neighborhood leaders, in a project that combines beauty and history.
The civilized markets, led by the fish market, the clothes mall and the vegetable market, witnessed a great demand from citizens and visitors during the weekend, in confirmation of Port Said’s position as a leading service and commercial destination.
While the suburbs neighborhood continued its campaigns to remove the hotbeds of scrap and sorting, under the supervision of Shaima El -Ezbi, in implementation of the directives of the governor to combat pollution and achieve a civilized appearance of the city.
