Dr. Osama Al -Azhari, Minister of Awqaf, participated in the twenty -ninth conference of the Croatian Islamic Sheikha, held this year entitled “Science, Religion and Artificial Intelligence – Ethical aspects – Towar, not doubt,” at the headquarters of the Islamic Croatian Society.
The minister started his speech by thanking the organizers of the conference, whose opening session was attended by the Minister of Croatian Culture, the Mufti of Muslims in Croatia, the vice -mayor of the city of Zagreb, and a number of scholars and participants from all over the world.
The minister gave a mini research at the conference, translating into the English language, and added a brief lecture on the view of Islam in general to science and the developments of artificial intelligence and related positive and negative horizons.

The minister exchanged modern with the participants in the conference, and also dealt with some of the ideas that the participants put forward with analysis and presentation, pointing to humanity in the fourth stage of the major knowledge explosion in history; This requires all humanity to discuss and agree on an ethical path that enhances the positives of artificial intelligence and selects its evils and negatives, which range from disrupting human mental capabilities and tampering with human capabilities and other unknown horizons.
The minister concluded his speech by thanking those in charge of the conference and the good selection of the topic, calling for continuing to consult in this aspect, and the commitment of the voice of reason, wisdom and moral discipline in dealing with the developments of science.
