What is the solar aura?
The solar aura is a visual phenomenon that occurs when the sun’s rays are broken or reflected in the ice crystals in high clouds, especially in the delicate “surrus”. The aura usually consists of a 22 -degree angle around the sun, which produces a soft, circular rainbow.
Air indications and ritual indicators
Scientifically, this phenomenon indicates a possible change in weather conditions, and rain or climate changes are often preceded, and for this reason it is locally known as the “dirty sun”. In popular custom, its appearance is a harbinger of weather changes in the coming days.

Besides the traditional aura, there are other visual phenomena related to the ice, including “the pillar of light”, which are vertical lines of light that often appear in cold climates, and “false sun”, which are two illuminated points that appear on both sides of the sun as a result of the reflection of light from ice crystals.
