His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, stressed the importance of exchanging experiences in the field of social housing between the public and private sectors in a way that contributes to developing innovative solutions aimed at accelerating the pace of meeting housing services, improving the efficiency of resource use, and adopting modern technologies in construction and planning.
His Excellency explained that the participatory approach based on consultation and the transfer of knowledge between those involved in housing affairs in both sectors would enhance the ability to deal effectively and positively with the requirements of population growth, and the needs of social housing according to the highest standards.
This came at the meeting of His Excellency today, in the presence of His Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al -Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, a number of housing officials in the Gulf Cooperation Council states, and heads of real estate development companies participating in the work of a conference and innovation exhibition in the social housing sector, who were held yesterday under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him.
His Excellency expressed at the beginning of the meeting his thanks to the representatives of those bodies for their valuable participation in the conference and the accompanying exhibition in order to embody the spirit of cooperation required to advance the efforts to develop the housing policies that reflect on the aspirations, hoping for the conference and the participants in it success in reaching realistic outputs and recommendations and translating them into practical initiatives that contribute to developing the housing system at the level of the Kingdom and the region.
His Excellency also praised the fruitful partnership held by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning with a number of local, Gulf and international private sector institutions to implement the projects of the government land development rights program, by signing the memoranda of understanding that represent an advanced step to open new horizons for cooperation in housing projects.
For their part, the attendees expressed great thanks and great gratitude to His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister, may God protect him, for his preference for the auspices of the Innovation Conference and Exhibition in the Social Housing Sector, at the same time, at the same time, the presence of His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister attending the opening ceremony, which reflects the support and great care of the housing development in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
They also noted the distinguished organization of the conference, and the opportunities it provided for communication and exchange of visions between a group of decision makers, experts and specialists from inside and outside Bahrain, hoping the Kingdom of Bahrain for the permanence of progress and prosperity.
