The engineer Adel Al -Najjar headed Giza Governor A meeting to determine the mechanisms of enhancing the efficiency of the hygiene system at the level of neighborhoods, centers and cities and methods of paying at the pace of work to achieve citizens ’satisfaction.

During the meeting, Al -Najjar stressed the importance of creating a comprehensive database that includes all the capabilities and challenges related to the hygiene system, including human cadres and equipment, and its distribution plans geographically to ensure improving work efficiency and raising the level of field performance.
The Governor of Giza also stressed during the meeting the need to conduct an accurate inventory of the inputs and expenses for the cleaning sector, in addition to determining the actual needs to reach the optimal level of efficiency in providing services.
The governor pointed out the importance of benefiting from the successful experiences in the file of the housing combination of the waste that was implemented in a number of local units in the governorate centers, which contributed to raising the efficiency of the work, stressing that the possibility of generalizing these experiments in other areas is currently being studied taking into account any observations that may occur to ensure continuous development.
During the meeting, the ongoing action plans were reviewed, as the governor directed the accurate follow -up to the performance of the housing collection companies and the extent of their commitment to the terms of the contract concluded with them, stressing the need for the effective application of the mechanisms of the home gathering of waste because of its direct positive impact on the cleanliness of the streets and the general civilizational appearance.
He instructed the governor to activate the role of waste management in neighborhoods, centers and cities, deputies of neighborhood heads and centers assigned to the cleaning file, in addition to the periodic field monitoring of the state of hygiene and not allowing the presence of foci of the waste gathering.
Al -Najjar concluded his statements by emphasizing that the efforts of the executive bodies must integrate with raising societal awareness, in addition to the need to emphasize the shops and commercial establishments with positive participation in maintaining the cleanliness of the environment and putting the garbage boxes in front of the shops to improve the condition of hygiene with its surroundings while taking the necessary measures regarding violations and achieving a clean and safe environment for citizens.
The meeting was attended by Ibrahim Al -Shihabi, Deputy Governor, Mohamed Nour El Din, Secretary General, Mohamed Mari, Assistant Secretary, and Mohamed Al -Dabaie, Chairman of the Cleaning and Beauty Authority.
