The General Authority warned For meteorology The air is from a noticeable rise in temperatures on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, in most parts of the Republic, amid wind activity that may cause dust and low horizontal visibility in some areas.

The authority stated that the temperatures will record 39 degrees Celsius in Cairo and Lower Egypt, and 41 degrees in the north of Upper Egypt, while it reaches 42 degrees in the south of Upper Egypt, which is one of the highest rates for this month. The northern coasts also record 34 degrees Celsius for the Great.
Among the most prominent weather phenomena that the authority referred to is the activity of the winds of sand and dust, which may be severe at times and regions, which leads to a decrease in horizontal visibility, in open and fast roads.
The authority advised the drivers of vehicles to be careful while driving, especially at peak times or during the movements between the provinces.
A noticeable decrease starting from Wednesday
The authority confirmed that, as of Wednesday, April 23, 2025, a gradual decrease in temperatures will begin to most of the parts, at values ranging from 8 to 10.5 degrees Celsius.
According to expectations, the maximum temperatures will range between 29 and 35 degrees in Cairo and Lower Egypt, from 23 to 24 degrees in the northern coasts, and from 34 to 40 degrees in the south of the country.
The authority called on citizens to follow up on daily weather forecasts and take the necessary precautions, especially those who suffer from respiratory or allergic diseases.
