The youth team, led by Osama Nabih, will host its Nigerian counterpart, on Tuesday afternoon, in a friendly meeting that brings together both teams in preparation for the African Nations U -20 Cup hosted by Egypt.

It is scheduled that the youth team will face its Nigerian counterpart amicably at five in the evening today, Tuesday, on the ground of the Cairo International Stadium, in a strong experience within the program of preparing for the African Championship, from which the first 4 teams qualify for the next World Cup in Chile.
The experience of Nigeria’s Eagles tomorrow is the last rehearsal of the opening meeting scheduled to bring the Pharaohs with South Africa next Sunday at Cairo Stadium in the matches of the first round of the first group that includes: Egypt, South Africa, Sierra Leone, Zambia and Tanzania.
Earlier, the Nigeria Youth team arrived at Cairo Airport on Monday, in preparation for participating in the African U -20 Cup, which kicks off on April 27 and will continue until May 18.
The Nigerian national team, nicknamed “Green Eagles”, has the record in the number of times the crowning of the tournament with 7 titles, including 3 championships in its current system (2005, 2011, 2015).
The Nigerian national team qualified for the finals for the thirteenth time, after it topped the West Africa qualifiers (B), beating Ghana.
The Nigeria team plays its matches in the second group, as it begins its career by facing the Tunisian national team on May 1, and then faces its Moroccan counterpart on the 4th of the same month, before concluding the group stage with a match against the Kenya team on May 7.
