Based on the strategic plan of the General Secretariat of the House of Representatives (2023-2026) and within the framework of “strengthening communication and community partnership in order to achieve transparency, developing parliamentary awareness, and involving society in parliamentary decision-making”, Eng. Mohamed Ibrahim Al-Sisi Al-Buainain, Secretary-General of the House of Representatives, discussed the mechanism of implementing a package of projects aimed at enhancing the awareness of all groups of Bahraini society with parliamentary culture and national identity and establishing values Belonging, loyalty and citizenship, as part of an integrated program that is implemented during the current year in the name of: “parliamentary bridges”.
This came during his happiness meeting Monday morning with a number of employees of the General Secretariat concerned with following up the implementation of the plans of this program that will be launched soon.
As part of the program projects, all groups of Bahraini society will be defined by the reform project of His Majesty, may God protect and preserve him, the legislative and supervisory specializations of the work of the House of Representatives, and highlight the achievements of the legislative and democracy in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The program also aims to raise awareness of the importance of effective participation in public affairs, and contributes to developing the capabilities of individuals to understand the parliamentary and legislative mechanisms, which enhances their ability to influence the positive in decision -making and participate in the development of Bahraini society in a sustainable manner.
