The Monastery of the Virgin Mary (the Syriac) in Wadi al -Natrun hosted this morning the breakfast table that collected His Holiness Pope Tawadros II with a number of bishops and bishops.

His Holiness delivered a spiritual speech on the occasion of the Resurrection during the meeting, which is an annual tradition of its holiness and members of the Holy Synod.
Earlier, President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, President of the Republic, was keen to congratulate the Copts of Egypt, on the occasion of the glorious Easter, by saying: “The sons of Egypt are the Copts, I extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes, on the occasion of the celebration of the glorious resurrection.”
Al -Sisi added during a publication a short time ago on his page on the social networking site “Facebook”: I pray to God Almighty to preserve Egypt and its people, and to always keep it a beacon of tolerance and coexistence among all its children, and that the values of love and peace that unite us under the banner of the one homeland will flourish.
He concluded: “I wish you a happy holiday full of good and blessings, and for your families with all happiness and pleasure, and every year you are fine.” He concluded his speech: Happy New Year, and a feast of glorious resurrection.
