Today, Monday, Mohamed Abdel -Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, made an inspection visit to the Al -Masry International Center for Empowering people with special needs in the tenth of Ramadan City, accompanied by a high -level delegation from the Education Council in Tokyo Governorate in Japan.
During the tour, the Minister was accompanied by Dr. Ahmed Al -Muhammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow -up, Dr. Hala Abdel Salam, Head of the Central Administration for Public Education, Dr. Hanim Ahmed, Advisor to the Minister for International Cooperation, Dr. Sahar Al -Alfi, Director General of the General Administration of Education at the Ministry of Education, and Dr. Medhat Hilal, Minister of Administrative Development.
The Japanese delegation included Mr. Kudo Tadahito from international affairs, and both Akatsu Kazoya, Mauri Motokazo, Shemazo Satoshi, Shimamura Kazuki, and Nanamura Daisky of the Education Council in Tokyo Governorate.

This visit comes within the framework of strengthening the bonds of educational and educational cooperation between the Arab Republic of Egypt and Japan, and an extension of the positive results that resulted in the visit of Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif to Tokyo, and also in the framework of enhancing cooperation and exchanging experiences in the field of supporting and empowering people with special needs, reflecting the commitment of the two sides to develop the system of inclusive education and achieving parity in educational opportunities.
The Japanese minister and the accompanying delegation started the tour at the Al -Masry International Center for the Enabling of People with Special Needs by inspecting the various halls of clinics, which number 18 clinics and includes 8 audio clinics, 4 conversations and 6 functional behaviors, where clinics are equipped with the latest devices in the world.
During the inspection tour, Minister Mohamed Abdel -Latif and the Japanese delegation visited the water treatment area within the integrated center for the care of children with special needs, and the delegation also briefed the accompanying delegation on the logistical structure of the center, and planning models (the machine) that shows the design of the facilities, in addition to the rehabilitation rooms and laboratories, and the hotel role designated for receiving parents during treatment sessions.
The inspection tour also included the clinic department, which begins with rooms for keeping information and registration of children, through basic hearing tests and headphone efficiency.
The inspection tour also included the evaluation waiting area, and the functional therapy halls concerned with qualifying children for natural interaction through balance and motor coordination exercises, where they were briefed on sensory therapy rooms, qualification of movement functions, family counseling rooms, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
The tour also included playing and speech rooms, speech tests, and rehabilitation to improve letters exits and identify sounds, as well as specialized rooms to perform rehabilitation operations, units for skills development programs, and dealing with children in cases of anger and emotions.
The Japanese minister and delegation also listened to a detailed explanation of behavior analysis rooms, which are used to train children on daily habits using educational tools and games, in addition to the treatment rooms with art and music that contribute to developing cognitive and expressive skills for children.
Minister Mohamed Abdel -Latif stressed, during the visit, that the Al -Masry International Center for Empowering People with Special Needs is one of the largest centers that provide treatment and rehabilitation services for integrated students and people with special needs Africa and Arab, noting that the file of people with special needs is the top of the priorities of the political leadership.
The Minister stressed that the Egyptian state pays great attention to supporting people with special needs, stressing the importance of international partnership in transferring and localizing successful experiences.
For their part, members of the Japanese delegation praised the center for their advanced and advanced level of therapeutic and rehabilitation services for people with special needs, praising the Egyptian state’s keenness to empower and integrate people with special needs in society and expressed their willingness to enhance future cooperation in this field.
