The zoo in Beni Suef Governorate has prepared to receive citizens during the glorious festive festivals celebrations and Eid Sham El -Naseem, in an atmosphere of joy and attention, in implementation of the directives of Dr. Muhammad Hani Ghoneim, the governor of Beni Suef, that the degree of readiness within public facilities and parks should be raised, and to provide a safe and ready environment to receive visitors during the celebration days.
Assistant Secretary General inspects the garden’s readiness to receive citizens
In this context, Major General Sami Allam, the Assistant Secretary -General of Beni Suef Governorate, conducted an inspection tour on Sunday inside the zoo, to follow up the final preparations to receive citizens, and to check on the equipment and services available inside the park.
During the tour, Dr. Ahmed Abdel -Alim Al -Jabali, Director General of the Veterinary Medicine Directorate, was accompanied by Dr. Heba Ibrahim, Director of the Zoo, as they agreed by the various garden sections, and the tour included following up the general situation of animals, sitting places, corridors, toilets, ambulance points, and food and drink outlets.
Major General Sami Allam stressed that the governor’s directives included the necessity of providing all amenities to citizens, raising the maximum level of readiness during the holiday period, while stressing cleaning procedures, continuous maintenance of facilities, and providing ready -made work sets to deal with any emergency.
For his part, Dr. Ahmed Al -Jabali explained that there is a continuous follow -up of the health status of animals inside the garden, through specialized veterinary teams that exist throughout the day, in addition to providing appropriate quantities of feed and food, and ensuring the presence of medicines and veterinary aid permanently.
Dr. Heba Ibrahim also indicated that the park administration has intensified cleaning work, equipped green spaces, increased the number of seats and shadow places, in addition to developing a plan to facilitate entry and exit, and provide security elements to prevent overcrowding or any problems during the congestion days.
She emphasized that the park represents a natural outlet for the people of Beni Suef during the holidays, especially Sham Al -Naseem, noting that the administration is keen to provide a distinguished experience for visitors, especially children, through introductory animal offers, and providing an entertainment and safe atmosphere for all.
It should be noted that Beni Suef Governorate announced raising the degree of readiness in all governorate centers during the celebrations of the Spring Festival, and stressed the city heads and directors of the directorates that the places of entertainment and public parks should be followed up, and raised their efficiency in a manner befitting the citizens.
