Ben Affleck reveals the dark side of the Batman character

During his interview with GQ magazine, Affleck described the suit as “terrifying”, noting that she is very hot, lacks ventilation, and does not take into account the comfort of actors in any way.

He added: “It was designed to look as people should see it, not as it should be felt by those who wear it,” explaining that filming while wearing it was very stressful, even for the veteran professionals in the scenes of the movement.

Suffering under the mask

Ben Affleck expressed his suffering with the Batman suit, saying: “First, it is very hot, do not make you feel that you are a super hero, but rather make you feel as if you were drowning in sweat, as soon as you wear it, the sweat begins to fall out of your face, and you try to hold on front of the camera and say to yourself: There is nothing wrong, we can continue.”

Ben Affleck pointed out that the Batman suit was not designed to match the nature or comfort of the human body, but rather it was a harsh experience in the full sense of the word, saying: “Even the bruises that appear around the eye were similar to what was happening after a stressful run.

Bin Affleck did not lose sight of other representatives who embodied the darkening Persian character, such as Christian Bell and Robert Pattinson, saying they may have been more able to adapt to the compassion of the suit, or at least they seemed to the audience.

Personal disappointment

Although his primary motivation for accepting the role was the dazzling of his little son, the result was the opposite of the expected, where he said: I wanted to be his hero, but the movie was very dark for him, and when he watched him he was very afraid. Just then I realized that we have a real problem.

This statement raised many questions about the direction that superhero films take, and whether exaggerating the dark aspects may lose these characters their luster and attractiveness to the younger audience.
