“We are exposed to political assassinations from the inside, and the head of the (Internal Security Agency) Shin Bet Ronin Bar at the head of those who receive threats,” Labid said.
He pointed out that the “next catastrophe” will be the result of incitement from the inside, calling for confronting what he called violence claims.
“Whoever runs the ruling since October 7 is responsible for incitement,” he added.
He also stressed that the level of incitement led by the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “undermines the foundations of democracy and (the latter) will become an existential threat to us.”
He also said that “the instigators of violence must be stopped because we were in a dangerous stage,” calling on Netanyahu to silence his ministers and media trumpets and give the Shin Bet the full power and authority, according to his expression.
On the Shin Bet, Lapid confirmed that he had to resign since October 7, 2023 due to his failure.
