Mr. Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Trade, received, in his office, Dr. Abdul Hassan Al -Dairi, President of the Bahraini Small and Medium Enterprises Association, and a number of members of the association.
During the meeting, the Minister of Industry and Trade affirmed the Ministry’s support for all economic sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain, among them the sector of small and medium enterprises, which is witnessing a remarkable growth in its contribution to the gross domestic product, thanks to the facilities and initiatives adopted by the government in order to strengthen this vital and developing sector, valuing the vital role that the association plays in the advancement of this sector.
During the meeting, the developments and topics related to the sector of small and medium enterprises were reviewed, in addition to highlighting the ongoing efforts to enhance the ingredients supporting his growth in a flexible and supportive business environment.
For his part, Dr. Abdel -Hassan Al -Dairi, President of the Bahraini Small and Medium Enterprises Association, stressed the importance of expanding the frameworks of cooperation between the association and government agencies, in order to enhance the role of small and medium enterprises in supporting the economy of the Kingdom of Bahrain, expressing his thanks and appreciation for the government efforts made in enabling the sector of small and medium enterprises, as it is one of the vital sectors in the Kingdom.
