The Public Prosecution, in cooperation with the Supreme Council for the Environment, the Ministry of Interior, and the Institute of Judicial and Legal Studies, organizes a training program under the title “Criminal Protection of Resources and the Marine Environment” aimed at promoting awareness of national legislation regulating marine and environmental wealth, and unifying legal procedures in accordance with the latest relevant legislation.
It also seeks to raise the efficiency of the concerned authorities in monitoring and documenting environmental and sea violations, and supporting integration between government agencies in combating crimes on wealth and the marine environment, in addition to enhancing a culture of preserving natural wealth and social responsibility towards the marine environment. It is scheduled that its activities begin on Sunday 27 April 2025 AD at the Institute of Judicial and Legal Studies in the presence of Public Prosecutor Dr. Ali Bin Fadl Al -Bouainin, A four -month training program, a group of judges, members of the Public Prosecution, employees of the Ministry of Interior, and the judicial seizure officers in the ministries and the concerned authorities. The program deals with a practical and practical framework for building and developing the legal and technical capabilities of the bodies specialized in protecting wealth and the marine environment, by providing specialized practical training content that combines legislative and procedural aspects, in a way that contributes to ensuring the effective application of the provisions of the Environmental Law and the Law of Marine Wealth Regulation, and achieving the highest levels of coordination between the relevant authorities, within an integrated institutional vision that supports sustainable environmental development in the Kingdom.
