At least 58 people were killed and 126 others were injured in air strikes carried out by the American forces, on the port of Ras Issa fuel for western Yemen, according to media reports.

According to media reports, these strikes are among the fiercest attacks by the United States since the start of its military operations against Iran -backed Houthis.
The US military confirmed that the attacks targeted a major economic source used by the Houthi group to finance its operations, noting that the aim of the strikes is to undermine the economic capabilities of the militants who continue to exploit Yemeni citizens and cause their suffering, according to what the US Central Command published.
These raids come within the framework of a massive military campaign led by the United States in the Red Sea, which began in January, in response to the repeated attacks launched by the Houthis since November 2023 on the shipping ships associated with Israel, in the context of their solidarity with Gaza.
The Houthi group had suspended its attacks during the two -month truce in Gaza, but pledged to appeal it with the renewal of Israeli military operations, although it has not claimed responsibility for any new naval attacks since then.
