The Supreme Council of Universities addressed the public, private and Egyptian universities and the higher institutes to follow up the implementation of the events of the establishment of events inside and outside the attached university campus, which includes updating the controls for organizing graduation parties for students in Egyptian universities, which was approved by the Supreme Council of Universities decided in its session held on 24-8 – 2024, according to special sources for Cairo 24.
The highest universities are directed to follow up on the application of the establishment protocol inside and outside the campus
The sources stated that the council stressed the follow -up of universities and institutes to implement the controls for organizing graduation parties for students in Egyptian universities, to ensure that organizing graduation parties and university student events is exclusively on the university campus and facilities affiliated with the university, and no event that is held outside the university establishments may be named a graduation ceremony, and the name or emblem of the university may not be used in such events.
The council prohibits the faculty members, the assisting body and the administrators in universities, and this existence is considered a departure from the values and authentic university traditions, as the effectiveness of the event is determined in the annual quarterly activities plan, and this plan is adopted from the concerned councils, and the approval of the College Council must be obtained in the event of organizing events at the level of the department, program, division or college.
The council stressed, but in the event of organizing an event at the university level, the approval of the vice president of the university and the university council must be obtained, and a committee is formed to supervise the organization of any student event headed by a faculty and membership of a number of faculty and administrators at the university.
One or more committee of the executive committees is formed, and the faculty members, the assisting body and administrators at the university are the basis of the strength of these committees. These committees perform their executive tasks under the supervision of the Supervision Committee, and students as assistants participate in implementation under the supervision of the Supervision Committee and the Executive Committees.
