Dr. Ahmed Al -Ansari, Governor of Fayoum, held an expanded meeting to follow up on the mechanisms of developing fish wealth in the governorate, as well as following up the results of the analyzes that are performed periodically on the waters of Lake Qarun, to ensure the continuity and improvement Violating fishing, in a way that contributes to maximizing the economic and social feasibility of the lake, supporting the fish stock, and restoring the environmental balance for it.

This came in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Al -Touni, Deputy Governor, Dr. Nisreen Ezzeddine, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Cairo University, Governor Advisor for Fish Resources Affairs, Mustafa Sayed, Director General of the Nile Valley Region for Fayoum Resources in Fayoum, Ahmed Ayman, Head of the Financial and Administrative Affairs Department of the Department of Environmental Protection and Water Surfaces in Fayoum, and Amin Al -Saim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cooperative Association for Fish Vaccors Bakaron, and Abdul Raouf Mahmoud, Director of the Environmental Affairs Department in the governorate, Wahba Abdel Hafeez, the official of the environmental balance file in the governorate, and Marwa Ahmed, head of the Project Follow -up Unit, representatives of the Environmental Affairs Branch, the Lakes and Development and Fish Resources Development Authority, and the relevant authorities.
During the meeting, the current season plan was reviewed to supply fish seed to Lake Qarun in terms of timing, types, required numbers and proposed sites, and the mechanisms of environmental balance of the lake and improving the quality of the water in it, to support the fish stock and maximize its economic and social return.
The Governor of Fayoum stressed the need to fully coordinate the members of the committee from the authorities entrusted to the analyzes, to make a field survey, and to conduct periodic analyzes of the waters of Lake Qarun, to ensure its quality and the remarkable continuity of improvement, before the upcoming of the next seed, through a specific plan, in order to preserve the self -development and automatic development of Lake Qarun’s stock of fish, through a scientific plan and a systematic vision in coordination between the various relevant authorities.
Al -Ansari also stressed that the province is keen to continue the lake development processes and improve its water quality in it to achieve the desired economic and social returns, appreciating the efforts of the Governor’s Adviser for Fish Resources Affairs, and representatives of all parties concerned with the development of the lake, pointing out that the next stage needs more effort and giving, and networking between the various parties concerned with the development of Lake Qarun, which is beneficial and beneficial to the citizens of the province.
The governor pointed out that a cooperation protocol was signed with Major General Hussein Farhat Mohamed, Executive Director of the Lakes and Fish Resources Protection Authority, to restore environmental balance and the development of Lake Qarun, by enhancing fish farming in it, to achieve self -sufficiency in this sector, in a way that supports the safe food system and comprehensive development, and work to make the best exploitation of the lake of the lake with a distance of 200 meters, within the framework of the powers of the agency regarding protection and development And the exploitation of lakes and water bodies at the level of the Republic.
The Governor’s Advisor for Fish Wealth Affairs stressed the importance of conducting periodic analyzes on “water and fish” by Lake Qarun, pointing out that all members of the committee concerned with the development and development of Lake Qarun were agreed upon to make an analysis of the lake water at the end of this month, and another analysis in the middle of next month before the frying of the seed.
