Maqsoud Cruz, Chairman of the National Authority for Human Rights, affirmed the commitment of the authority to support and enhance the rights of the child and protect it from all forms of violation and exploitation as one of the four strategic directives adopted by the authority that includes the rights of women and children, workers ’rights and the rights of people of determination and the right to health and mental health. This came during his meeting at the authority’s headquarters in the capital Abu Dhabi, Mama Fatima Singata, the special decision concerned with selling children and sexually exploitation of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and the accompanying delegation, as part of its official field visit to the state.
