Representative Ahmed Al -Sajini, Chairman of the Local Administration Committee in the House of Representatives, said that the ruling of the Supreme Constitutional Court regarding the old rent is obligated, stressing that Parliament respects all the assisting institutions and authorities, in compliance with the constitution.

The topic was discussed extensively, and many proposals were presented by the Housing Committee, and a committee (4+4) was formed, which included deputies of them, the late Abdullah Al -Asar, and it has already completed its work.
The head of the Local Administration Committee in the House of Representatives stated that the constitutional ruling issued is related to the lack of stability of the rental value, noting that the deadline continues until the end of the parliamentary session.
Al -Sajini continued: The case in the end is related to decision -making and the formation of convictions .. The President of the Republic directed the necessity of correcting this great bond in the balance of justice, as the owners were subjected to great injustice over the years.
Al -Sajini continued: In my personal opinion, the issue of the old rental law has ended, as we are bound by the rule of the Constitutional Court, presidential directives, and a clear statement from the House of Representatives stating the necessity of amending the rental relationship, and at least increasing the rental value.
Al -Sajini added: My personal conviction is that the solution is not only by adjusting the fare, but it must be radical, so that the file is not inherited for future generations.
