The tour of the Minister of Local Development, with the participation of Eng. Haitham El -Desouki, head of the inspection and control sector and the follow -up of the Ministry and a number of workers in the sector, started with the field traffic on the streets; Al -Kawraba – Al -Baghdadi – Ibrahim Al -Lakani – Sayed Abdel Wahid, as well as passed on the Ismailia Square and showed that there are a large number of occupations in all areas that were passed on, as well as the deterioration of the sidewalks, interlock floors and unconfirmed lighting columns and the absence of an effective role in the Heliopolis neighborhood in addressing these observations and finding solutions to them, as well as a number of workshops and shops that are not licensed with real estate overlooking Ibrahim Street Laqani.
During her surprising tour, Dr. Manal Awad directed the head of the Heliopolis neighborhood to take the necessary legal measures to close and nominate all cafes, as well as restaurants in violation of those areas and cut off the facilities immediately.
The Minister of Local Development also stressed that the violating shops, cafes and restaurants are not allowed in accordance with the provisions of the law, as well as not allowing the road or sidewalks to be occupied to facilitate the traffic of citizens and cars daily, and Dr. Manal Awad directed to quickly review the position of workshops and shops on Ibrahim Al -Laqani Street and real estate overlooking it and the extent of its legitimacy and take legal measures towards any violations.
She also called on the Minister of Local Development to start immediately to raise the efficiency of some sidewalks and internet works for a number of streets to preserve the safety and health of citizens and the actual passage of the neighborhood in coordination with the facilities police to raise all occupations periodically, in addition to the necessity of setting a vision or mechanism from the Heliopolis neighborhood of these stores to beautify the neighborhood and preserve the civilizational and aesthetic appearance, as Dr. Manal instead of the inspection and follow -up sector directed at the ministry By following up the decisions and directives that the neighborhood demanded and presented to what was taken.
