Closing the port of Hurghada maritime
The media center of the Red Sea Ports Authority had announced the closure of the Hurghada Maritime Port yesterday evening, due to bad weather.
The wind reached between 24-30 northwestern knots, the height of the waves between 3-4 meters, and the state of the sea is very turbulent, and maritime navigation and all marine activities were stopped on small and large marine units in order to preserve the safety of maritime navigation.
Major General Engineer Mohamed Abdel Rahim, Chairman of the Red Sea Ports Authority, issued strict instructions to the port managers to take the necessary precautionary measures towards ensuring the safety of navigation marks at the entrances and exits of the ports, and follow -up with the General Authority of Meteorological Authority for the Climate Map to ensure the safety of maritime navigation.
Activating the operating rooms in the ports to face potential risks, and preventing marine activities in order to preserve the safety of lives and private and public property.
