Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman announced that the Saudi Aramco company discovered 14 new discoveries of the fields and reservoirs of Arab oil and natural gas in the Eastern and the Empty Quarter, as they were represented in 6 fields and supplies of Arab oil, two fields and four reservoirs of natural gas.
The Minister of Energy explained that the oil field (Al-Juba) was discovered in the eastern region after the very light Arab oil flowed from the “Al-Juba-1” well at a rate of (800) barrels per day, and the oil field (Siyahheed) was discovered after the very light Arab oil flowed in the well (Siyah -2) at a rate of (630) barrels per day, according to SPA.
In the context of the same discoveries, the Minister of Energy said: “The oil field (Aifan) was discovered after the very light Arab oil flowed into the well (Aifan-2) at a rate of (2840) barrels per day, accompanied by about (0.44) million standard cubic feet of natural gas per day, and the oil reservoir (Jabila) was discovered in the (wild) field after the light Arab oil flowed into the well (Al-Brai -907) at a rate of (520) barrels per day, accompanied by about (0.2) million standard cubic feet of natural gas, as well as discovered (Unaizah-a) in the field (Mazalej), after the excellent Arab light oil flowed in the well (Mazalej-64) at a rate of (1011) barrels per day, accompanied by about (0.92) million standard cubic feet From gas per day. “
In the Empty Quarter-according to the minister’s hadith-the oil field (Noir) was discovered after the intermediate Arab oil flowed in the well (Noir-1) at a rate of (1,800) barrels per day, accompanied by about (0.55) million standard cubic feet of natural gas, in addition to discovering the oil field (Al-Dhamda) after the average Arab oil flowed from the well (Al-Daddaa-1) in the Machine (supervisor) at a rate (200) barrels per day, and also flowing from the (Musharraf-D) reservoir in the well itself is very light Arab oil at a rate of (115) barrels per day, and the oil field (Qurqas) was discovered after the intermediate Arab oil flowed in the well (Qurqas-1) at a rate of (210) barrels per day.
With regard to natural gas, the Minister of Energy pointed out that the field (deer) was discovered in the eastern region after the flow of natural gas from the well (deer-1) in McCle (Unaizah B/C) at a rate of (32) million standard cubic feet per day of natural gas, accompanied by about (2525) barrels of capacitors, in addition to the discovery of the (Aram) field after the flow of natural gas from the well. (Aram-1) in McClem (Unaizah B/C) at a rate of (24) million standard cubic feet per day, accompanied by (3000) barrels of capacitors, as well as discovered (Al-Qasaybaa) in the (Al-Muhids) field in the eastern region after the flow of unconventional natural gas in the well (Al-Muhiz-193101) at a rate of (3.5) million standard cubic feet per day, accompanied by about (485) barrels of capacitors.
In the Empty Quarter, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman announced the discovery of (Arab-C) in the field of (Marzouq) after the flow of natural gas in the well (Marzouq-8) at a rate of (9,5) million standard cubic feet per day, as well as discovered (Arab-Dr.) in the same well after the flow of natural gas in it at a rate of (10) million standard cubic feet per day, in addition to the discovery Al -Alawi) in the same well after natural gas flowed at a rate of (1.5) million standard cubic feet a day.
The Minister of Energy said: “These discoveries represent a qualitative addition that establishes the country’s pioneering position in the energy sector globally, as it confirms that it has a rich in hydrocarbon resources, which opens new horizons for economic development, and supports Saudi Arabia’s ability to meet the local and global demand for energy efficiently and sustainable for decades, and these discoveries also guarantee the sustainability and prosperity of economic growth, in line with a vision. 2030 and the ambitious goals of the Kingdom to maximize the benefit of its natural resources and enhance global energy security.
