The Official Gazette published the decision of the Ministry of Local Development regarding the expropriation of real estate for the public benefit, considering the project of expropriation of 4 plots of land located next to Princess Nemat Palace, which is overlooking the martyr Yahya Al -Marj Street in Cairo Governorate.
Article 1 decision
The text of the first article’s decision came as follows:
Real estate and lands ownership of the Prime Minister’s decision for the year 2023, which is indicated, shall be removed from the attached lists.
Article Two Decision

Earlier, Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, confirmed that the ministry continues to implement the state’s directives to confront violations with decisiveness and control the local work system, and raise the efficiency of performance within the units of the local administration, in a manner that ensures better services to citizens, and achieve the highest levels of administrative discipline, transparency and combating corruption in various governorates of the Republic.
This came during the review of the Minister of Local Development, a report on the results of the efforts of the performance evaluation sector, follow -up and inspection of the Ministry on the sudden inspection visits and planned on some local units at the level of the Republic during the month of March 2025.
