The delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain has arrived in the city of Zlatibor in the Republic of Serbia to participate in the World U -15 Schools Championship (ISF U15 GYMNASIAE 2025), which takes place from 4 to 14 April 2025, with the participation of more than 3,500 athletes representing 55 countries from all over the world.
The Bahraini delegation is chaired by His Excellency Dr. Saqr bin Salman Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Bahrain Sports Federation for Schools and Universities, where the school team participates in a number of games, including: wrestling, athletics, swimming, and boxing.
The Bahraini mission, upon its arrival, began completing the official accreditation and housing procedures, amid a welcome from the organizing committee, provided that the players begin their preparatory training in preparation for the start of official competitions during the coming days.
This participation comes within the Federation’s strategy to enhance the Kingdom’s presence in international school forums, and to support emerging national sports talents, in a way that contributes to developing their capabilities and raising the name of Bahrain in various global forums
