The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments affirmed that the Jaafari Endowments Council and the Endowment Department undertakes the supervision of endowment real estate subject to its mandate, by exploiting it, disbursing its revenues, preserving its dignitaries, and reconstructing it according to the concept of the drafting of the endowment and the phrases of those who stand, and according to the provisions of Islamic Sharia, indicating the work of the administration according to a program that aims to advance it.
With regard to the development and sustainability plans, the Ministry explained in its response to the question of Representative Mounir Sorour, that the administration is working according to a work program aimed at advancing endowments and caring for places of worship in all regions of the Kingdom, and among the most prominent development projects adopted by the Jaafari Endowments Council, and began working on it in approving the investment plan for the Jaafari Endowments Board of Directors, which included offering endowment real estate for investment through bidding sessions Publicly to enhance the approach of transparency in all administrative practices, with the aim of enhancing governance and transparency, equal opportunities, developing services provided to investors and tenants, and enhancing cooperation and coordination with the official authorities concerned with the real estate and investment sector in the Kingdom in a manner consistent with the principles of economic vision.
In addition to working to develop a plan to restore and rehabilitate a number of mosques per month, as the plan entered into force from the beginning of January 2025 AD, and the administration monitors the needs of all endowment real estate and facilities in all governorates through a specialized follow -up team, and several mosques have benefited from it after the completion of the necessary restoration and maintenance work, including the seventh district of the northern governorate, which has a number of One of the mosques, funerals and cemeteries is scheduled to include the restoration and rehabilitation plan periodically. The projects also include the creation of new mechanisms to ensure the realization of the community partnership, in coordination with the relevant authorities.
As for the development of the functional structure of the executive apparatus of the Jaafari Endowment Council, it is subject to periodic review and continuous Bahraini muezzins working in imams and muezzins through work contracts, they occupy second jobs in other sides.
