Major General Mohamed Al -Zamalout, Governor of the New Valley, announced the launch of the activities of the first national campaign for the year 2025, to fortify livestock, from cows, buffalo, sheep, and goats, against foot -and -mouth disease, and the rift valley fever tomorrow, Saturday.
Assigning the heads of local units to provide the necessary support
In a statement, Al -Zamlout affirmed that officials of the local units of the centers and villages were assigned to provide all the necessary support to the veterinarians’ teams, to ensure the implementation of the campaign’s goals in the optimal, calling on livestock breeders and small farmers, to fortify their livestock through the national campaign to fortify against patients with foot -and -mouth The governorate, to maintain livestock and prevent diseases.
He pointed out that follow -up committees will be formed from the relevant departments of the Veterinary Medicine Directorate, while emphasizing the overcoming of all obstacles to the success of the campaign activities, reaching the target, and continuing efforts to preserve livestock, health and safety of citizens.
