Dr. Mohamed Abdel -Malik, Vice President of Al -Azhar University for Upper Egypt, announced that he raised the state of emergency and the maximum preparedness at the University Hospital in Al -Azhar Medicine in Assiut, in anticipation of any emergency that may occur during the Eid Al -Fitr holiday.
This comes on the basis of the instructions of the university administration headed by Dr. Salama Dawood, President of the University, to completely prepare to provide health services to citizens with high efficiency during the Eid holiday period.
Raise the degree of readiness for hospitals during Eid Al -Fitr
The Vice President of Al -Azhar University of the Upper Egypt also stressed the increase in the number of doctors in the reception and emergency department, while preparing backup teams of various medical specialties, in addition to the basic teams on the job to ensure the provision of medical service at the same usual level during the Eid days and the need to provide a sufficient number of family to avoid any crises during the leave.
Dr. Ibrahim Shaalan, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospital in Assiut, confirmed the completion of the review of all medical supplies and equipment, and the preparation of backup quantities in hospital stores for critical and urgent care departments, as well as ensuring the availability of medicines and the necessary quantities of blood bags and its derivatives.
He added: The schedules of the medical teams have been prepared within the various departments, while emphasizing the readiness of the medical teams to receive any emergency condition during the days of Eid.
