Astronomical calculations confirmed that the first day of Eid Al -Fitr will coincide with Monday 31 March in most Arab countries such as Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, Palestine, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Sudan.
However, the National Institute for Astronomical Research in Egypt confirms that there is a possibility to be on Sunday, March 30, the beginning of the month of Shawwal from the astronomical point of view, which may push some countries to announce Eid al -Fitr on that day, according to the legal vision.

Regarding the countries that depend on the vision of the crescent to verify the beginning of the month of Shawwal, the number of Ramadan days is expected to be 30 days, with the possibility that the Eid al -Fitr will celebrate on Monday, March 31.
However, there are astronomical factors that could affect this expectation, as the Hilal conjugation was born on Saturday, March 29, and that was before sunset, and the sunset was after sunset in many central and western regions of the Islamic world.
Usually in these circumstances, some countries announce the start of the next month the day following this date, which indicates that there is a possibility to announce Eid Al -Fitr on Sunday, March 30 in some countries.
