Al -Azhar Mosque held today, Thursday, 27 Ramadan 1446 AH, the activities of the Dhuhr Forum (Female Ramadan) in the Garden of Al -Sharqah under the title (Eid Al -Fitr in Hoda the Prophet (ﷺ) in the presence of Dr. Dina Sami, a teacher of interpretation and his sciences at Al -Azhar University, Dr. Karima Odeh, a researcher in the Islamic Research Academy, and Dr. Sana Al -Sayyid, the researcher in the Al -Azhar Mosque.
Al -Azhar researcher: Eid prayer is an appearance of joy, thanks to God, and the necessity to strengthen social ties
Dr. Dina Sami started her speech on the occasion of Eid Al -Fitr, stressing that the holidays in Islam have begun to meet the innate human need, as souls love holidays and pleasure in them.
She added that the joy of Eid al -Fitr is not only a legitimate demand, but it is a real material joy that appears in the joy and pleasure that the eyes see, as the joy is marked on the faces, and everyone feels it through giving, shaking hands, tolerance and peace. It also hesitates in the ears of takbeers and congratulations, and Muslims express their connection and their supplication for the good of each other.
She explained that the guidance of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, is the kindness of women, as he was keen to respect her innate feelings and desires, and he ordered them to go out for the Eid prayer, whatever their conditions and circumstances. It was also from his gift, may God bless him and grant him peace, allowing the permissible playing on this day, provided that he does not distract from the performance of the duty in its time.
She emphasized that the day of breaking the fast is a day of joy thanks to God, and it is an occasion for vision and joy, as Muslims congratulate each other with God’s success to them to perform this great worship.
While Dr. Karima discussed the return of the importance of holidays in Islam after the great obedience, noting that Eid al -Fitr comes after the completion of the obligation of fasting that God imposed on us. She explained that the feast is a station for rest and enjoyment of what God has given to food and drink, in addition to permissible fun, provided that this is without extravagance.
She added that the feelings of Eid begin with the sunset of the last day in Ramadan, as I showed many Sunnahs and etiquette of Eid Al -Fitr, which include: zooming, washing for the Eid prayer, wearing the best clothes, and goodness, as well as eating before leaving the house on dates or others. She also indicated the importance of going to the chapel from a way and returning from another way, as well as taking women, children and boys without exception, until menstruation, vertebrae and premature numbers.
Dr. Sana Al -Sayed, a researcher at Al -Azhar University, explained that the Eid prayer is an important manifestation of joy, as the atmosphere is filled with magnification in joy and pleasure. She emphasized that the celebration of the holiday is to show the grace of God Almighty through facilitation in Sharia and the completion of fasting, which is a time of thanks to God for his grace.
She added that the feast does not mean the end of obedience or forgetting the worship and invalidity of the Muslim to the Creator in the day and night, because true love does not change the volatility of days. It also urged the necessity of strengthening social ties on holidays, through the relationship of the wombs, the visit of relatives and friends, and the state of the poor, widows and orphans.
It is worth noting that the “Female Ramadan” Forum comes within the framework of the scientific and advocacy plan for the Al -Azhar Mosque during the month of Ramadan, under the patronage of the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al -Tayeb, Sheikh of Al -Azhar Al -Sharif.
The forum aims to enhance the religious awareness of women, by discussing jurisprudential and scientific topics related to Muslim women in Ramadan, in addition to motivating them to make spiritual benefit from this holy month by understanding and managing the Qur’an and working with its teachings, and the forum also seeks to renew the spirit of fasting, reading and reflecting the Qur’an in the hearts of the participants, and supporting them in their spiritual and educational journey.
