Under the auspices of the Supreme Council for Women, the third edition of the “Women and Society” conference, organized by the Royal University of Girls, will start from May 11 to May 13, under the slogan “Promotion of leadership, innovation and sustainability”.
The “Women and Society” conference is an international multidisciplinary conference that focuses on women’s studies in the region, and it works as a turning point for academic research and dialogue on the leadership of women, their contributions and their impact in various sectors.
This year’s version includes a number of high -ranking speakers from academics from local, regional and international educational institutions, experts and leaders in various specializations, magazines, professionals and specialists, to participate in discussions and dialogue sessions to be held during the conference that constitute the future of women’s studies and research in the region.
This year, the conference highlights the prominent leadership and effective contributions of Bahraini women in building the country and society, and aspects of their vital participation in economic development and sustainability, in line with the slogan of Bahraini Women’s Day for the year 2024 “Women are a partner worthy of building the state”, and the conference also deals with important aspects of the leading experience of the Kingdom of Bahrain in empowering women led by and directed by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabika Bint Ibrahim The Supreme Council for Women, may God protect her, and the role of her pioneering, in supporting women’s progress in all economic, social and academic fields.
The conference opens the door for contributions on the topic of “promoting leadership, innovation and sustainability”, and invites researchers, practitioners and policy makers to share their visions about the active roles of women, the challenges they face, and the achievements that contribute to the advancement of various sectors and industries.
The Supreme Council for Women, in cooperation with partners from the public and private sectors, continues to enhance active dialogues on women’s issues through conferences, seminars and events related to women and their role in society, in an effort to improve the process of empowering women and promoting leadership, innovation and sustainability at the level of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the world.
