The Sudanese army commander, Abdel Fattah Al -Burhan, announced on Wednesday from inside the Republican Palace that “Khartoum is free.”
Al -Burhan landed his private plane inside Khartoum Airport for the first time since the war with the rapid support forces.
The Sudanese army affirmed its control of the good camp, the last bases of the Rapid Support Forces in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum.
This comes as the Commander of Khartoum Operations, Major General Abdul Rahman Al -Bilawi, announced to Al -Arabiya and Al -Hadath that his forces took control of Khartoum International Airport.

The Sudanese army commander, Lieutenant General Yasser Al -Atta, conducted an inspection tour of the army forces in the Republican Palace after they regained control for the first time since April 15, 2023.
