The Egyptian U -17 team left Cairo Airport today, Wednesday, heading to Morocco in preparation for participating in the 2025 African Cup of Nations, which starts at the end of March and will continue until April 19.
The Egyptian team will participate in the second group, which includes South African teams, Burkina Faso, and Cameroon, as part of his endeavor to compete for the title and qualify for the World Cup for Junior.
A strong camp before the tournament
Egypt under 17 years played an intense training camp in preparation for the tournament, with 4 friendly matches against Liberia and Tanzania teams (two games) and future stars, where he achieved 3 wins and received a single defeat.
The technical staff, led by Mohamed Wahba, seeks to provide a distinguished level in the continental championship, and to appear in a strong way that reflects the development of Egyptian football at the junior level.
