Egypt strengthened its lead in the first group of the African qualifiers for the World Cup, after beating Sierra Leone.
Egypt defeated its rival Sierra Leone, with a score of 1-0, in the confrontation that brought together the two teams in the sixth round of the African World Cup qualifiers.
The Cairo International Stadium, on Tuesday evening, hosted the Egyptian national team match against Sierra Leone, in the African World Cup qualifiers.
The confrontation started, at eleven o’clock Abu Dhabi time, and the tenth hour Mecca time, and nine o’clock Cairo time.
Egypt against Sierra Leone in the World Cup qualifiers
Ahmed Mustafa Zizou managed to score the only goal of the match in the 45th minute, to lead Egypt to win over Sierra Leone.
With this victory, Egypt raised its score to point 16 at the top of the first group of the African World Cup qualifiers.
On the other hand, Sierra Leone’s balance was frozen at the eighth point in the third place in the table of the first group ranking.
