A large segment of citizens is awaiting the official announcement of the largest proposal of the Social Housing Fund and the Support of Real Estate Finance of the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, which is scheduled to include 400,000 housing units for low -income people.
This proposal comes in response to the directives of President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, who stressed the importance of providing adequate housing for all groups of society, especially limited and middle -income, in order to enhance the state’s efforts to achieve social justice and improve the quality of life.
According to Counselor Mohamed Al -Homsani, the spokesperson for the Council of Ministers, the government seeks through this proposal to provide a suitable and sustainable housing environment, through various housing units and distributed over a number of new cities and different regions throughout the Republic.
It is expected that the details of the offering are fully announced after the blessed Eid Al -Fitr holiday, to include a number of ready -made projects for immediate delivery, along with other units that will be delivered within a period not exceeding two years.

- Units come with various areas to meet the needs of different families
- Some units are ready for immediate delivery, while others are under implementation
- The sites include multiple cities and regions in the Republic
- The conditions of reservations and payment systems will be announced later after the final sites
Suitable prices and soft payment systems:
The spokesperson for the Council of Ministers confirmed that the government takes into account the social dimension when determining the prices of housing units, explaining that the prices will be within the reach of limited and middle income, while providing significant facilities in the payment systems.
This proposition is part of the state’s continuous efforts to provide safe and appropriate housing, as part of a national plan aimed at covering the needs of citizens of various groups and achieving balanced urban development throughout the Republic.
