The artist Ahmed Abdel Aziz expressed his rejection of the idea of marginalizing the elderly artists and restricting them to secondary roles or group championships, noting that this belief is completely wrong.
In his dialogue with Cairo 24, Abdel Aziz explained that it is the role that determines whether the work needs an older hero or not, stressing that there are major personalities in the drama that require maturity and experience to have a strong impact on the events, asking: Why is it not presented by a great actor?
He pointed out that the Egyptian drama has become focused on young heroes, while in global cinema the main roles are still given to elderly actors, which reflects a greater appreciation of artistic experience.
Ahmed Abdel Aziz concluded his speech, stressing: We need to reconsider this point, because the actor, the more he mature, the more he can present more depth and persuasive characters.

It is noteworthy that Ahmed Abdel Aziz is participating in the series Fahd Al -Batal, which is shown in the current Ramadan race, and is starring the artist Ahmed Al -Awadi. The work deals with a story inside a marble factory in the snake area, where Fahd works as a letter in the factory, after escaping from his family in Upper Egypt because of his injustice. Then he falls in love with his colleague Canaria, but the competition between him and her father in the marble market puts great obstacles to their relationship.

The work was written by Mahmoud Hamdan and directed by Mohamed Abdel Salam.
