The Directorate of Education in the lake, in coordination with the Civil Protection Department in its departments, the Traffic Department and the ambulance facility, today, Sunday, implemented an emergency evacuation plan for the headquarters of the Directorate’s office, in a virtual case of a fire in one of the building roles or its exposure to a natural disaster that is an earthquake.

The Directorate’s Court witnessed the launch of the sirens and the evacuation of the building consisting of four floors of 700 employees, unlike the audience, which is reluctant to the administrations of the Bureau with an expected number of 600 citizens, and the building has 4 outlets to escape.
The electrical current was dismissed and the security personnel were prepared with fire extinguishers, and all workers in speed and security came to the exits for the gathering places, while maintaining all the precautionary procedures, maintaining and training in the transfer of affected cases, and providing moving chairs for the elderly as soon as the alarms are heard through organized steps and procedures that have been followed.
The traffic was also organized after the evacuation and the surrounding streets leading to the Directorate building, with ambulances, civil protection and internal transportation.
The crisis and disasters team in the directorate dealt with the fire and the event, and the organized safe evacuation, and the identification of routes for escaping and gathering outside the Diwan at the meeting point to limit the preparation.
Youssef El -Deeb, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, praised the distinguished performance of workers, civil protection devices and civil defense forces, during the implementation of the evacuation plan and the imposition of a security cordon around the directorate building and the ability of traffic to change traffic trends and the readiness of the ambulance facility to transport the injured and provide fire extinguishers, stressing that this experience is a good step on the path of crisis management and measuring the readiness of workers to deal with any emergency case.
