The United Nations’s approval of the initiative of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the International Day of Peaceful Coexistence is an affirmation of the Kingdom’s global status, which is the culmination of its efforts in promoting dialogue between cultures and religions, as Bahrain is a model for tolerance and coexistence, which is what we see and even live in reality through our country’s embrace of various religions and cultures in an open environment based on respect and equality between peoples, which contributes to building more stable societies In line with, and this historical achievement that is added to the Bahrain record did not come from a vacuum, but came in implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and the Kingdom’s commitment to spreading the values of peace and tolerance and an affirmation of its firm approach in promoting the values of humanity and brotherhood among human beings, and this is evident in its internal and external policies.
The twenty -eighth day of each year will be the international day of the peaceful coexistence that the world will celebrate, which coincides and coincides with the birth of His Majesty the King of the country, may God protect and preserve him. Coexistence and love between peoples, which reflects the wise vision of His Majesty the king in promoting understanding between peoples and achieving peace, which made Bahrain a role model in promoting dialogue between religions and rapprochement between cultures, which made it a beacon for tolerance in the region and the world and building a more peace, just and harmony between nations and peoples.
I was one of the attendees in the annual Ramadan Ghoba, organized by the King Hamad International Center for Peaceful Coexistence, to celebrate the United Nations’s approval of the initiative of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the international day for peaceful coexistence, and the truth of the attendees emphasized the high international standing that the Kingdom enjoys, which during the ceremony was honored by the countries that voted for the Bahrain initiative, which is a recognition of what Bahrain has that it believes in unity and peaceful coexistence, which represents a global message from Bahrain to the world calling for unity And understanding between peoples, this recognition and international consensus constitutes a new addition to the record of the humanitarian achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain, which inevitably will not stop this extent, but rather the beginning of Ghaith and doubt there is a lot in the play in this field and many evidences and what is the presence of the King Hamad International Center for peaceful coexistence, which bears the name of His Majesty the King, may God protect and preserve him except the best evidence of the approach of tolerance, coexistence and peace.
