In the presence of Dr. Raman bin Abdullah Al -Nuaimi, Minister of Information, Mr. Sultan bin Ali Al -Khater, the Ambassador of the sisterly State of Qatar, visited the site of the “Al -Sariya” program, which is shown on Bahrain TV during the blessed month of Ramadan, in the heritage village in the “Ras Hayyan” area.
The Minister of Information welcomed the visit of the Ambassador of the State of Qatar, stressing that the Ministry of Information is keen to translate the lofty directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, by rooting the national identity and providing content that embodies and preserves the authentic popular heritage, as it reflects the Bahraini and Gulf civilizational and cultural achievements.
The Minister of Information appreciated the great attention and the generous support that the “Al -Sariya” program receives from His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Acts and Youth Affairs, which had the greatest impact to continue the program to shine and its role in highlighting the civilizational achievements and cultural and popular heritage of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in addition to all the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
During an intervention by the ambassador of the sisterly State of Qatar in the program, he praised the valuable content offered by the program that reflects the richness of the Gulf heritage and the depth of the cultural heritage of the Gulf Cooperation Council states and its cultural achievements, praising this good initiative that embodies the Ministry of Information’s keenness to enhance Gulf cultural identity and consolidate authentic values in the hearts of future generations. He also mentioned the role of the program in embodying the depth of historical and cultural ties that bring together the peoples of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
The ambassador expressed his admiration and appreciation for the cultural and artistic paragraphs that were presented to celebrate the heritage and achievements of the State of Qatar, wishing the program and those responsible for more success and success.
