Minister Amna Al -Rumaihi said that the Royal Royal Guidance with the provision of 50 thousand new housing units comes as an extension of the high care that His Majesty the King of the Social Housing Sector attaches along the housing march, which is the sponsorship that provided the necessary support for government efforts to provide thousands of housing services to citizens over the past years, through the paths of the ministry constructing projects in housing complexes and cities, as well as expansion in Partnership with the private sector and supporting this vital sector in providing housing projects, and diversifying the financing options, which are immediate and the speed of access to adequate housing.
The Minister emphasized that the Ministry, in coordination with the Housing Bank, is legally as soon as the high guidance is issued by forming a joint work team to develop the paths of the executive plan, and the most prominent ingredients of this plan will include work on building projects in cities through the path of completing housing cities, as well as providing the necessary support to the private sector to increase the pace of housing projects in cities and residential complexes, in addition to continuing efforts to provide and develop financing programs.
Minister Al-Rumaihi indicated that allocating the largest budget for financing social housing projects in the public budget bill for the two years 2025-2026 with a total value of 800 million dinars, and the consequence of employing this budget in providing thousands of housing services that vary between housing projects and financing programs, reflects the ability to implement the visions and aspirations of His Majesty the King in providing 50 thousand housing units, and providing appropriate housing for citizens It contributes to the prosperity of Bahraini families.
The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning pointed out that the Housing Bank will inform a major role during the next stage to provide housing projects and programs, in a way that contributes to keeping pace with the comprehensive plan to implement the Royal Royal Guidance, by providing the necessary support to increase the stock of the real estate sector, providing the necessary support to the citizen by diversifying the housing options in front of him, and obtaining housing service without lengthy waiting periods.
