The first football team of Al -Ittihad Club continues its intensive preparations to face its youth counterpart, in the semi -final of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, in a meeting during which the “Dean”, led by his French coach, Laurent Blanc, seeks to achieve victory and qualify for the final match, with the aim of winning the precious title.
In the context of preparations for the upcoming confrontation, the newspaper “Al -Riyadiah” revealed that the youth club management submitted a proposal to the Saudi Football Association, in cooperation with the Federation administration, in order to bring a foreign arbitration team to manage the match.
The newspaper pointed out that the youth administration proposed sharing the costs of the foreign crew with the union, which was approved by the “Dean” administration, provided that the crew is from the elite rulers to ensure the highest levels of arbitration justice in the decisive meeting.
It is expected that the “Alinma” stadium will host the confrontation of Al -Ittihad and Al -Shabab, on Tuesday, the first of April, as the match will start at 9:00 pm Mecca time, and 8:00 pm Cairo time.
The Union seeks to reach the final and approach the title, while the youth hope to achieve a surprise and exclude the “tigers” on its way towards crowning the championship.
