The Ministry of Interior, represented in the anti -drug, weapons and ammunition sector, in coordination with the security services, launched an expanded campaign to control drug dealers, which resulted in the seizure of a number of criminal elements involved in bringing and trafficking in narcotic drugs.
Criminal elements were seized in possession of drugs of 4.5 million pounds in several governorates
In Al -Buhaira Governorate, the security services managed to seize a criminal component, with criminal information, in the Edko Police Station Department, in possession of 12 kilograms of hashish, before promoting its customers.
In Matrouh Governorate, another criminal component, with criminal information, was seized in the Matrouh Police Department department, and he was found in possession of 18 kilograms of hashish, which was intended for distribution.
In Suez, the forces succeeded in controlling a criminal element in the Al -Janain Police Department, in possession of 25 kilograms of hashish, and 7 pieces of firearms.
The financial value of the seizures amounted to about 4.5 million pounds, and legal measures were taken against the accused, with the continued security campaigns to pursue those involved in the trade of narcotic drugs.
