Al -Azhar Al -Sharif, Sheikh Aba Ishaq Al -Huwaini, who passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, mourned at the age of 69, after a bus life in which he served the Prophet’s Sunnah and its sciences.
Genesis and education:
Sheikh Al -Huwaini was born on June 10, 1956 in the village of Houen in Kafr El -Sheikh Governorate, Egypt. He grew up in an average family of agriculture.
He moved to Cairo in the secondary stage, where Sheikh Abdel Hamid Kishk’s lessons began, joining the Al -Alsun College at Ain Shams University, and specialized in the Spanish language.
Scientific and advocacy march:
Sheikh Al -Huwaini was influenced by the books of Sheikh Muhammad Nasser al -Din al -Albani, which prompted him to specialize in hadith science. He made two flights to Jordan and Saudi Arabia to meet Sheikh Al -Albani and other scholars, such as Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen and Saleh Al Sheikh.
He was known as one of the most prominent Sheikhs of Salafism in Egypt, and presented lessons and lectures in multiple mosques, most notably the Sheikh Al -Islam Mosque in his hometown.
With the emergence of religious satellite channels, he appeared in channels such as “People”, “Mercy” and “Al -Nada”, where he presented programs concerned with the interpretation of the hadiths and the issues of belief.

Sheikh Al -Huwaini has many books and investigations in hadith science, including:
• “The relief of Al -Makdoud with the graduation of Ibn al -Jaroud’s selection.”
• Achieving “Sunan Ibn Majah”.
• Achieving the “Great Forty” of Al -Bayhaqi.
• “Separating the speech by criticizing the singer from memorization and book” by Abu Hafs Al -Mawsali Al -Hanafi.
• “Disturbance in the etiquette of marriage.”
These works contributed to spreading modern culture and clarifying the curricula of modernists in a manner that combines scientific accuracy and simplification.
Death:
Sheikh Al -Huwaini died in Doha, Qatar, after suffering a severe health problem.
