The Director General of the Emirates Space Agency, Salem Al -Qubaisi, stressed that the Bahraini satellite “Al -Mundhir” embodies the great ambition of Bahrain in the space sector, and reflects the capabilities of its children to innovation and development, as it contributes to finding advanced scientific solutions to support scientific research and space applications, indicating that it represents a pivotal step towards enabling the Bahraini national competencies in the areas of space and advanced technologies.
He congratulated the Kingdom of Bahrain, leadership, government and people, on the occasion of the success of the launch of the first Bahraini satellite.
Al -Qubaisi pointed out that the Emirates Space Agency is proud of the close partnership with the National Authority for Space Sciences in Bahrain, stressing that this partnership is moving steadily towards enhancing cooperation and expanding its horizons.
He explained that the strategic integration between Bahrain and the UAE in the space sector will open the way for ambitious joint projects that contribute to the service of the peoples of the two countries and the peoples of the region.
