The child Adam, one of the talented students in the Kingdom of Bahrain, witnessed a distinguished historical moment in his presence in the launch ceremony of the Bahraini satellite “Al -Mundhir”, the first of its kind to be designed and fully made with Bahraini hands.
He was accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Adviser, Commander of the Royal Guard, Secretary -General of the Supreme Defense Council, who supervised this ambitious project.
Adam expressed his happiness and pride in this national achievement, stressing that this experience will inspire him to continue his passion for the field of space science.
This event comes within the framework of the Bahraini leadership’s keenness to empower young people and enhance their role in the comprehensive development process.
This project is the beginning of a new era for the Kingdom of Bahrain in space, as the Kingdom has proven its ability to enter this field strongly, through the implementation of a space project, and the development of technologies and skills that will pave the way for a brighter future in the space sector, and most importantly its step in investing in its young national cadres that will lead the march towards more progress and leadership in this sector.
