Smartphones have become a major tool to help Muslims perform their worship during the month of Ramadan, as the various Holy Qur’an applications provide an easy reading experience with various recitations and multiple language interpretations, while the applications of dhikr provided notifications of daily dhikr and prayer times based on the geographical location of the user. It is also possible to follow religious lessons through various platforms, and they provided lectures in interpretation, hadith and sponsorship, which strengthened religious awareness without the need to attend traditional science episodes in mosques.

Technology has transformed screens into interactive scientific platforms; Where the fasting person can follow the recorded lessons and lectures that offer profound visions of the worship of fasting, which nourishes the cognitive and spiritual sides together, in fulfillment of the Prophet’s saying ﷺ: “Whoever has a way in which he is touched in the science of God, God will make it easy for him.”
He added that the positives of technology were not limited to this, but rather extended to facilitate daily acts of worship through dedicated applications that regulate the extensive and accurate times of breakfast and constipation, even if the Muslim is transferred between the countries of the world, as the intention of Sharia is achieved from the establishment of the prayer. In addition to facilitating access to the programs of the Noble Qur’an that combine the electronic text, the facilitated interpretation and the influential vocal recitations, which helps the fasting person to multiply the recitation of the Qur’an, and God mentioned at all times, especially in the month of Ramadan, the month of the Qur’an, as the Almighty said: “And the Qur’an is pleased with the remembrance of the one.”
Technology also caused a qualitative shift in the field of charitable work, as the reliable electronic platforms facilitated the processes of donating and paying zakat with quick and safe procedures, with the possibility of tracking the access of money to those who are entitled to the world, which reflects the spirit of solidarity that Islam urged in the Almighty saying: “The example of those who spend their money in the path of God as a similar one. Therefore, it is recommended to benefit from it, so that it remains a supportive tool for closer to God without overwhelming the essence of worship and the spirituality of Ramadan, pursuant to the Almighty saying: “O you who believe, do not distract you from your money, nor your money.” And the Prophet ﷺ said: “The age is the one who condemned his soul and did what after death”, “Narrated by Al -Tirmidhi.”
For his part, social researcher Issa Hussein stressed that one of the most important positives of smart applications and technology is the ability of the individual to know the times of prayer, and the ease of obtaining legal rulings, and previously needed the research or to visit the elders to ask, inquire and obtain information, unlike our current time and the development of technology that facilitated the Muslims, as there are a large number of platforms to read the Qur’an, and applications of supplications and praise that can be used at any time Any time and investing time in the male and seeing the rulings and poetic interpretations with ease and ease. He said that these applications contain the reminder feature, which in turn allows the organization of the Qur’an reading schedule, morning and evening dhikr roses, and helped many to draw and go to God Almighty. He added that at the level of follow -up of religious lectures, we see a lot of platforms on the various means of communication that broadcast directly to the sheikhs and preachers to learn the provisions of religion, biography, morals of Islam and other religious matters, as it allows immediate interaction with them, directing the liquefaction, inquiries and obtaining immediate answers.
He added that these applications have another very important feature, which is “bringing the distant” and providing the opportunity for everyone who is far from his family due to the conditions of his work or study and other conditions, by communicating through applications visible and hearing the uterus link, especially in the Holy Month and sharing all moments with family and friends and exchanging congratulations, blessings and supplications in the holy month, which enhances religious and social bonds.
Hussein added that the role of modern technology and applications is not limited to learning, communication, reading and remembrance only, but also reached the donation and the work of goodness, as there are applications that allow the individual to donate within seconds with the click of a button, and they are updated and diversified, and donation is no longer confined to the borders of Bahrain, but the opportunity allowed the Muslim to donate inside and outside Inside and outside Bahrain, donate water, breakfast for pilgrims and other charitable works.
Likewise, there are applications to follow a healthy system in Ramadan, whose user is determined by the dates of drinking water in Ramadan, breakfast times and providing him with a weight -following service, which is a positive health aspect to benefit from it during Ramadan.
