The noble values and the established traditions of the Kingdom of Bahrain, leadership and people, are evident with the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan, through the initiatives, projects and Ramadan visits that reflect the depth of social cohesion, and emphasize the national identity and the humanitarian approach rooted in the leadership of the Kingdom, and as His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, indicated in one of the Ramadan councils: “The approach of the Kingdom of Bahrain depends on the country. Community partnership, between all institutions and individuals that constitute a source of strength to achieve the desired goals and aspirations, and contribute to building a coherent society to face challenges, and Ramadan meetings reflect this spirit that brings leadership with citizens in a framework of love and cooperation ».

Over the decades, the Bahraini leadership established a solid approach that focuses on strengthening societal ties and promoting peaceful coexistence, which was evident in the January 28 declaration a global day for peaceful coexistence, which reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to perpetuating the values of tolerance, openness and pluralism, this integrated and sustainable approach enhances the bonds of national unity, based on the principles of the true Islamic religion that calls for brotherhood and cooperation.

In this context, the Ramadan councils that His Royal Highness the Crown Prince are keen on attending, to embody direct communication between leadership and society, and as His Highness said: “Ramadan councils reflect our authentic Bahraini values, and provide a platform to listen to the ideas and visions that contribute to the development of the country.” These meetings carry a deeper dimension, as they are not just social gatherings, but rather platforms for discussion and exchange of visions, which reflects positively on development decisions in the Kingdom, and by analyzing the societal impact of these meetings it is clear that many of the development initiatives that were adopted in recent years were the result of a fruitful dialogue in these councils, which enhances its role as a major engine for development, and according to modern data, more than more than 60% of the successful community projects were launched based on proposals that were presented in Ramadan councils; This highlights the role of these meetings in achieving sustainable development.

And because societal cohesion is not limited to meetings only, but extends to include giving and charitable work, the initiatives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa embodied the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, this approach by receiving those in charge of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, in support of the most needy groups, this interest reflects the values of mercy and solidarity that Islamic law urges. Social solidarity is one of the most important pillars of stability and prosperity in the Kingdom, and it is worth noting that societal support includes individuals and private institutions where they actively participate, and Ramadan donations witnessed 25% this year compared to previous years; This reflects the interaction of citizens with this humanitarian approach.

The Bahraini leadership is keen to enhance societal values also clearly in caring in the spiritual field. The mosques were never just places to worship, but rather beacons for science and spiritual education that contribute to building the individual and society.

The Bahraini leadership in the month of Ramadan provides an integrated model that combines wisdom, humility and openness to society, in a form that reflects the true Bahraini spirit based on tolerance and cohesion, and through these initiatives, the Kingdom affirms that it is not only a country based on economic and development achievements, but also a model of the established national identity and deep societal cohesion.
