The Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center announced the official date for the launch of the Sat Union, the first radar satellite to be led by the center team, today, Saturday, at 10:39 am Emirates time.
According to Emirati media, the firing of Vandinburg Air Force Base in California, USA, will be launched on the Space X missile, noting that the timing of the launch may change according to weather and operational conditions.

The Sat Union is characterized by advanced capabilities that allow the land monitoring with high accuracy in various weather conditions, day and night, and provides three photography patterns, including careful photography of small areas and wide coverage of large areas in addition to extending monitoring of longer areas and enables these capabilities to serve multiple sectors such as monitoring oil leaks, natural disaster management, tracking maritime navigation, supporting smart agriculture, environmental monitoring The minute, where data will be analyzed using artificial intelligence technologies.
