Mohamed Abdel Jalil, the former Egyptian football star, confirmed that the failure of the first football team in Al -Ahly Club, the summit match against Zamalek, is not appropriate for the Red Castle.
Abdel -Jalil said, in statements through the “Box to Box” program, which is broadcast on the “etc” channel: “Al -Ahly’s decision is a strong decision and we do not know its consequences until now, and I attended Al -Ahly withdrawals from them in Africa, and the whole continent knew the value of Al -Ahly, the days of Saleh Selim, and the decision had results.”
He continued: “The decision to withdraw from the league, Al -Mouradi was possible Al -Ahly, but it was held due to the presence of deposits between him and the Football Association, and whether the stubbornness between Al -Ahly and the federation will come at the expense of the fans, especially as it is the only luxury for the Egyptian people.”
He stressed: “Al -Ahly is always playing matches with the aim of winning, and it is not interested in arbitration or errors, and it is inappropriate in Al -Ahly that the team is going to the stadium and does not want to play the match.”
He continued: “Al -Ahly is not the only one in the arena, and Zamalek was a party to the meeting, and it is his right to refuse to postpone the meeting even if a quarter of an hour, and it was better to play the match, exploit the absences of Zamalek, and not to play the match as a technical loss for Al -Ahly.”
And he added: “Zamalek’s position is logical and an opportunity, and the administration took advantage of it, especially since there are many crises, and what happened was covered on what these things.”
He continued: “In the event that Zamalek adhered to the development of arbitration, he had to support Al -Ahly in the matter and insist on running the match with foreign arbitration, especially since he before the meeting worked as a press conference and criticized the Egyptian arbitration.”
He continued: “Solving the crisis lies in the solution of the Football Association, the League, or the Al -Ahly Council, and there are no other solutions.”
